Pro Dive – Privacy Policy

Pro Dive is designed with privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is stored, and how it is used. Pro Dive does not collect personal information, does not send any data to external servers, and does not use analytics or tracking tools.


1. Information We CollectNo Personal Data
Pro Dive does not collect or store any personal information such as your name, address, contact details, or identity.
No Online Accounts
Pro Dive does not require user accounts, sign-ins, or registrations of any kind.
No Data Transmission
Pro Dive does not upload, transfer, or send any data to the developer or to any third parties.


2. Dive Data Stored on Your Device OnlyPro Dive records dive-related information locally on your Apple Watch and iPhone to provide dive-computer functionality. This includes:
  • Depth and pressure readings
  • Timestamped depth samples
  • Water temperature
  • Dive start/end time
  • Surface intervals
  • Calculated decompression information (NDL, TTS, ceilings)
  • Tissue loading model updates
  • Summary dive logs




Dive logs are stored on the device as local JSON files (for example: “DiveData_YYYYMMDD.json”).
The decompression tissue model is stored locally in “TissueModel.json”.


This information never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it manually.


3. Sensor Data from Apple WatchPro Dive uses Apple Watch Ultra sensors such as:
  • Depth and water pressure
  • Water submersion detection
  • Temperature readings
These measurements are processed only in real time and saved only where required for the dive log.


4. Location Information (Optional)If enabled, Pro Dive may use your device’s location to identify the name of the dive site (for example, nearest town or area).
  • Location processing happens on-device.
  • The app does not store precise coordinates.
  • Location data is never sent to external servers.

5. App Connectivity (iPhone ↔ Watch)If using both the Watch app and the iPhone app:
  • Data is exchanged locally between your own devices via Apple’s secure WCSession system.
  • This communication never leaves your devices.
  • No data is sent to the developer.

6. Data SharingPro Dive does not share any data with:
  • Third parties
  • Analytics providers
  • Advertisers
  • External servers or cloud services
Your data stays entirely on your devices.


7. Data Storage and DeletionAll dive data is stored only on your devices. You can delete this data at any time by:
  • Deleting the Pro Dive app (this removes all stored files)
  • Manually deleting dive logs if they appear in the iOS Files app
  • Using any in-app deletion features (if available)
No copies are kept elsewhere.


8. Children’s PrivacyPro Dive does not collect any personal data and does not target children.
Because no identifying information is stored, the app is safe for all users.


9. SecurityPro Dive relies on Apple’s built-in security, including sandboxing and encrypted device storage.
Because the app does not transmit data externally, privacy risks are minimal.=


10. Changes to This PolicyIf Pro Dive introduces new features that require data collection or online services in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and you may be asked for consent where required.
