Sidemount is one of the fastest growing areas in scuba diving. Once the domain of cave divers, divers everywhere are finding it a fantastic way to dive. If you want to help more divers discover sidemount then enrol in a sidemount instructor course today!
Which Sidemount course should you choose?
You can do either the PADI Sidemount Diver Instructor course or the PADI Tec Sidemount Instructor course. The Sidemount diver course covers use of sidemount harness and two cylinders and the Tec Sidemount course also includes the use of up to 4 deco cylinders and other tec skills and equipment.
To enrol on a PADI Sidemount Instructor Course you must be a PADI OWSI or higher.
To enrol on a PADI Tec Instructor Instructor course you must be a PADI OWSI or higher, PADI EANx and Deep specialty instructor and be a Tec 45 diver or equivalent. Before sending in your application you must also be a PADI Tec Instructor, PADI Tec Sidemount Diver or equivalent and logged at least 20 technical sidemount dives.
To enrol on a PADI Sidemount Instructor Course you must be a PADI OWSI or higher.

Recreational Sidemount Instructor
The Recreational Sidemount Instructor course is run over 2 days at Guildenburgh Water and scheduled upon request. The cost is £160 per day and includes all gas and site entry. Other dates and venues can be arranged upon request.

The Technical Sidemount Instructor course is run over 2 days at Guildenburgh Water and scheduled upon request. The cost is £160 per day and includes all gas and site entry. If needed the Tec Sidemount and Tec Instructor course can also be run consecutively - please ask for costs and schedule for these options. Other dates and venues can be arranged upon request.
